Toniq R - Owners, more info etc?
Discussion
I have one of the first built ones and it was their demonstrators.
The company as far as I'm aware are still supplying kits and Colin Williams is still at the helm.
They very rarely come up for sale, and since I bought mine 3 years ago I can only think of one of the newer ones come up for sale in France with a duratec engine.

Good to hear they are still going - their social media side of things didnt seem to have been updated for a year or two so worried they had bit the bullet.
Do you have a build thread or similar?
Do you mind me asking what swayed you towards the Toniq instead of a 7, Atom, or similar?
What are your thoughts on the Toniq?

I'm afraid I didn't build mine but I've had a good part of it apart. I went looking for a Toniq because it seemed to stand out against the rest of the 7 styled car. I bought mine without seeing it in the flesh form Bristol and got Shiply to deliver it to Aberdeen. Do you have a build thread or similar?

I bought it because it came up almost half the price of a similar speced caterham and an Atom would be on my next car list but I can't justify the money for a weekend toy.
I've had a few problems which have been engine related and not the build it self but it's an absolute joy with it being a BEC it gets a little addictive above 10,000 revs. I've ironed out a few problems but with my car being one of the first built it's almost a prototype in away.
My car has been in shows and even it being far from perfect it always attracts loads of attention compared to other 7 type cars. I even had a young lad crossing the road in front of me at some traffic light with his mum shouting " look mum there's batman,"
Give Colin a phone he's a really nice chap and has always been very good to deal with when wanting parts or advice.

Hi all
A bit of a late reply to this post but ive got a 2007 Toniq R bought it last year but not used it a great deal due to work and family comitments but i'll be looking to sell it in the next few months
Its got the 919 fireblade engine in and is running on carbs.
It also has a flappy paddle kit on It which is pretty good once you get used to it.
I'll get some photos uploaded at some point..

Has anyone any ideas why pic is upside down??
I guess you uploaded it straight from an iPhone?Whenever I transfer iPhone pictures to a PC they are always upside down. Put the pic on a PC and then upload from there?
Nice looking anyway, how much you likely to sell it for and what are the specs?

Spec wise its got a 919 fireblade engine running carbs, its got paddle gearchange as well as normal 1 down 5 up gear selector, Willwood 4 pot calipers on the front, Stack dash with shift light
Cant really think of anything else as the moment
Price wise looking for around £8k which i dont think is unreasonable given mileage/age and also condition and its fairly unusual
