Went to their website and it looks like a phantom has taken it over.

Are they alive and kicking?

It will be a great shame if they have shut down, it's the closest I've come to buying a kit car for a good many years. Given suitable changes in my situation and facilities I would be up for it now.

I see no problems with it,
especially after the V2 release. Although its now Vortex Automotive due to a name change a few years ago, someone else had been calling their cars Phantom for a few years was the issue i believe.

It is a very nice looking thing.

Still to see one with the correct ride height and wheel offset though!

3.0 ford V6 with a SC on it, what more could you need?

Thanks for the link.

Went to the website and the car looks great--but looks really tough to build.

Anyone built one?

Would PH review one?

On holiday back 'home' from OZ I met Chris from Vortex and discussed an 'Ozzie' version. I know they have a LHD & RHD versions and in the flesh the car is stunning. Chris drove it on a winters day with snow on the road and serious speed and it was completely sure footed and rattle free. The quality and style of the vehicle was extremely impressive and looked over chassis construction and parts and convinced me that I want one.
try madaboutkitcars.com in the forums there is a few build articles. I have never seen an original design non-replica kit of this quality and design before. There may not be many out there but its fantastic value for something so original and timeless.
