Hi all does anyone have any info on these kits I see a yellow one for sale on pistonheads.
This was rvd s show car at Stoneleigh in 1996.
It's been of the road for 2 years.
It has a jag v12 double six engine are these reliable units and what bhp are they.

I have lots to say about this kit because I bought one, none of it positive I'm afraid

However what I will say is I have driven this exact car quite a few years ago when it was the demonstrator, it's a well put together solid car, it's not exactly fast for a kit car, it's close to 1400kgs and approx 300bhp so a stock Elise will give you a hard time.... The body is over engineered and as such is extremely solid and will cope with the test of time better than most cars.
Ride was good and it sounds sweet, for sure this exact car was the reason I bought the kit and I had a 500bhp ultima at the time.

There will be a lot of reviews of journalists driving this car as it's the demonstrator for you to read up on... A google search should find them.

Hi thanks for that.i can't find any reviews at all for this car.was the chassis bespoke.
It looks very wide and would have a presence on the road.was the road handling good.not to sure on these engines for reliability. It does look mint in the photos.would this be a bit overpriced do you think.

Chassis was bespoke and it didn't handle badly despite its weight, it's very wide at 2m.

Engine is a jag unit, they are strong and very cheap to replace... Not that easy to tune cheaply but sounds good.

Overall I'd describe this as a good car built to last.... As for price, there are only a few of these on the road, I saw one the same as this with issues sell of 7k on eBay in a less desirable colour IMO... It was up for over 15 k again a while later. A red one with a rover v8 was also sold but these are the only 2 I know toon road that sold... A good friend has a lovely example and he's just redone the interior looks great.
