Is there any real benefit to a mk3 over a mk2 sumo cobra?
Or is it much if a muchness?

The Mk 3 has no door handles, uses Sierra components instead of Granada, and has extra chassis bracing. All this is described on the "How to build a Sumo" wiki.

It's a shame there isn't a Dedicated cobra forum or at least Shelby on Piston Heads

Ah - here he is! Hi mate - there is the UK Cobra Replica club - forum is free but confusingly they appear to have a little bit of an internal IT bust up as their original forum is still running alongside the new "official" forum. All a bit weird!

New officially "oficial" CRC site : http://www.ukcobraclub.co.uk
or the original forum which is still live: http://www.cobraclub.com/forum/forum.php

Have a look at the regions section to see where your local monthly meet is
