Any S-Type Jaguar donor kits?
Discussion
if its the 6 speed auto forget it.can bus is your worst nightmare and the trans ecu is in the box itself.if your manual then you could put the drive train in a cobra rep or similar with an aftermarket ecu.a few manufacturers used xj40 running gear, how different the s type is i dont know
tbh the first rule of kit building is usually to choose the car you want, then find a suitable donor, though that engine would be sweet in a cobra or (my favourite) the GTD T70.the rest of the car could be sold for spares.

I don't think anybody has used the S-Type as a donor - seems oddly overlooked to me. (X-Type too.)
You might find that the S-Type has more in common with any Granada based kits that might still be around, but yes, as Simon3000 says, you might be able to use the engine in something interesting.
