Kent based garage/repairer needed for westfield
Discussion
Hi All,
I have a 1991 CVH engined Westfield Which I've owned for 7 years. About 4 years ago I discovered the wiring was shot behind the dashboard as it fouled the chassis rail and had started to burn out. I therefore started to rewire just behind the dashboard and make a new dashboard. Unfortunately a combination of using a rented garage with no light or power, young kids and work pressures mean I haven't been able to finish it.
So as it stands at the moment, I need to find a garage in Kent or SE London who can take the car in, put a new dashboard in, finish the almost complete wiring and sort out the brakes which had a slight leak before and are clearly not in good shape now.
I'll then need to get new tyres myself and MOT it afterwards.
Can anyone recommend a garage?

Not sure if Steve at fisher sports cars is able to help, he has worked on a number if cars in the past but will depend on his own car workload. Mark fisher is still about but not sure if he is still spannering or dedicated to his painting full tim, an email here might find out.

He also had a mate that a while back was setting up a rolling road but again not sure if that took off. A call to Steve may put you in the right direction.
Aeon are also based in Kent so may be able to help as well.
Sorry, nothing concrete but hopefully a few pointers.

yep, i'd give a shout to Snodhurst Garage just outside Chatham - although they deal with 'normal' tin tops most of the time, the owners are into kits and run 2 tigers, they're active in southern kit car club abd have carried out a load of work for members cars over the past few years; from rewires, to engine transplants, and various upgrades.
as its kit related - ask for Dick (owner) or Jamie ( one of the sons). accommodating family run business and as for what they've worked on...most from (obviously) tigers, westies, mk, cobs, riots, sebring, marlin, Mac, strikers and.....
over the time i've known them they've done all sorts to mine from swapping over bits from a write off ( my old car), to engine tuning, new dash etc. top guys.
snodhurst avenue, chatham.....
