Dorset Westfield Owners
Discussion
Hi,
This is a plea for help really. My wife and I are interested in buying a Westfield in the near future. There is obviously a lot of info here on the forums and elsewhere but we would really value having a chat with someone who knows a little bit about them. Is there anyone local to Poole/Bournemouth(ish)that might be willing to give up a little bit of time to send us off on the right path to purchase ?
Very many thanks,
Pop

Well, speaking as one of the bunch of
s, I'd offer an alternative view and say head on over there a well. Like any forum, there are bound to be people you don't get on with, but describing everyone one there with one broad-brush comment like that lacks a certain amount of, well, rigor?

I am a motor vehicle engineer by training and straight forward when it comes to this sort of thing. I too am on the Westfield Forum, far too much according to my wife.
As all forums sometimes those with the least knowledge appear to be the biggest experts but they mean well.
Usually the conversations go, I want a Westfield, followed by you need at least 200bhp etc. I always start with asking what you want to use the car for, road, or road and track or track. This dictates where you start looking. I have seen so many ignore advice and then buy a great and expensive car to spend a fortune to turn it into what they wanted and could have bought cheaper in the first instance.
Send me any questions and I will try to answer them
