product wanted to stop hot floorpan?

my floors seen to get hotter than id like on a long run , what products can i put under the carpet to help with this

Better to put something under the car between the exhaust and body incorporating a small air gap.
Inside the car will simply store the heat, whereas shield with a gap to dissipate the heat will work.

Yep. I put Zircoflex under the floor above my rear silencer because the boot floor (fibreglass) always got too warm for my liking. Its made a big difference.

Ive used the bubble foil type loft insulation near my exhaust manifold and so far its done the job. It would be fine under the carpet and in the foot well and does not cost a lot.
