Hi Chaps, I'm building a westfield se on a tight budget. Are there any wheels I can get from a scrappie that will have the correct offset? (don't care about the diameter) Cheers.

Hi Pal,

I have a set of refurbed capri wheels with new tyres (think its uniroyal rainsports but can check if your interested)and a set with tarmac tyres and I would sell them.

I just bought my westfield aswell mate and have some spares, good stainless exhaust etc

You need to be a bit more specific. Is it a narrow body, live axle or independent wide. The offset does depend.

You will find that the Capri or Escort will do the job in a 13" rim as the offset is okay for the narrow body. You might need a 5mm spacer at the rear to make it a bit more central.

My First Westfield used 14" alloys from a RS turbo but they needed a bigger spacer. It came with them so I kept them on there and they worked fine.

The narrow I think always looks good on the four spoke RS/ Capri rim as you can paint the spoke body colour

Spaximus, would I be correct in thinking you mean Mk2 Escort?
