Why no Chevron B16 and more to the point, why no Monteverdi Hai?

Like these, you mean?

They couldn't sell any Monteverdi Hais the first time round. What makes you think it would be more successful 46 years on?

Auto Union d type - always thought the edge devil would make a good base for this, audi v8 in the back.

Others would be lotus elite (1960s not wedge) and given you can't buy them any more the weissman mf5.

...of course we all know that replicas are not for purists and all related issues, but let me say: ELVA GT160; Bizzarrini Europa Gt1900; De Tomaso Vallelunga

Fair point on the Chevron, would be nice if there was a kit running more available running gear.

I suspect the Hai didn't sell as he hand made them at extraordinary cost. A modern day kit with the right under pinnings would be a striking car.
