I have a Cobra 289 which is due a respray. The car will be kept outside so I need to find a cover after it is resprayed - any ideas?

I have tried a few and found the Halfords one the best, just get a few more bungies to hold it down in the wind and never, never cover a week car.

covers do more damage than they save. The only time I'd use one is if forced to park under a tree.

Not if you buy a decent quality one. I have a full cover for my Westfield from Hamilton Classics - in 15 months it has not damaged the paint and has kept the car completely watertight

Buy a quality one as suggested above, the offerings from Halfords etc are not very good and will do more harm than good.

I'm not convinced by even the properly tailored covers for regular use. IMO you will eventually notice the car picking up swirl marks, especially if you put the cover on when the car hasn't just been washed..

OP, would one of these carcoon things be practical for where you're parking? They look fairly ridiculous and need permanent power but are very good. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/312035097102?clk_rv...
