most of my running has been on the road, had no problems, big potholes can be an issue, ear plugs needed for hard use

the small areoscreen deflects enough of the draft that you dont need to wear a helmet if you want to pose, its the odd deflected stone thats painfull

I've done a few quiet little runs without a helmet, but always worn one for anything open-road. The helmet now has a few scars that would otherwise be on my forehead.

I'm not sure if these are issues with all XTR2's but my reverse is a bit gutless (can't pull back up a hill) and the turning circle is quite big.

So . . . you do need to practice the 180° squirt (see the Top Gear video) to turn around without hitting the kerbs or having to get out and push.

Having said that it's the most fun I've ever had in a car and if I'm not working (and the weather is fine) that's where I'll be
