Afraid I can't make it this year as I am in Malta all June on business, but Newark is a good show, (second only to Stoneleigh imo), so if you are able to go, I would recommend it....

Road works are on the A1 near Newark.

Im coming from the north. will i run into them or are they further south ? Have the road works got a lane closed.

The road works are both north and southbound (sorry to but-in) and at one point the the northbound side is shut (with southbound being split to two single carriageways).
There are ways of getting around them though, and I would say it'd be worth it for the Newark show..
