Anybody know what became of their Countach replica? They produced an excellent Cobra rep', and built about 3 or 4 Countachs before folding - must have been mid '80s I suppose?

Any ideas?

I purchased a Brightwheel Countach kit last October, the prviouse owner had not started to build it and was still in the same condition as it was purchased in 1988, so if anyone else owns a brightwheel kit it would be good to hear from you

Hi John,

Reason for my question was that I did my 'work experience' with them when I was at school - It was a long time ago now, but I've often wondered what became of the company.

I recall the cobra kit quality was excellent, and at the time there were 2 Countaches in build to be sold as complete cars - never got to see the finished product! Have you made a start on yours?

Brightwheel folded not so very long after the introduction of the CR6. Seems that an American investor got impatient and pulled the plug. A shame really as the CR6 looked to have a future.
