Rite ok just got back from la mans with my dad and his ultima ,and have come to the conclueshon i want to build a kit.i have liked the mk indy for a bit now, but looking throw the new mags i see there is a comp called luego. Are they any good any feed back about evea kit wil be really helpfull.I want to put a 1.6 pinto in were is the best place to go for parts i.e head gasgit sets and piston ring.

Have you thought about fitting a 1.6 cvh? They weight less than the pinto and are still faily cheap and easy to get hold of. I think the standard 1.6cvh is more powerful than the 1.6 pinto as well. Sorry i've not helped with the origanal question but it was just a thought.
Where did you stay in Le Mans? There were a few Ultimas at the camp site I stayed at.

yes by my name i am a vdub driver.i have done a 20v convs on a mk2 golf,all the fiting ,upgradeing and wireing(which i do not wish on any one as it was a bit of pain).Did think about staying with wot i know but i want to have a better knowall of other lumps i.e pintos ...i have picked up a e-reg sierra now with a recon and a cam in it as well,only about 115bhp with a webber carb rejetied to this 2liter .But in the kit power to weghit should be ok for me to play with till such time i want to go mad.any body know any thing about thos kits i talked about.???????
Luego make 7 style kits, never seen one close up myself but there are a number of companies making these kits, buy yourself a copy of Which kit or Kit Car magazines - loads in there with reviews etc.
Luego do make a bloater of a 7, so if you're a particularly large person in either girth and/or height, the they might be a good choice.
