Sierra 7" or Cosworth/4x4/Scorpio 7.5" diffs will easily handle that. £50 inc driveshafts and hubs from a scrap yard and lots of choice out there.
The 4x4 3.62:1 and 3.92:1 are LSD (2.0 3.92:1 not always LSD) - any Scorpio V6 diff will be LSD too IIRC. LSD sets will be £100. There is a stronger 9" unit used on the 2wd Cosworth Sierra's but it's pretty heavy and aparantly not much stronger in use than the 7.5".
These are alloy cased and reasonably light, compared to a BMW diff for example, but there is a lighter unit from the Freelander - but this isn't as strong.

It does, common (cheap) ratios are 3.62:1 and 3.92:1 - these are very common. Slightly harder to find are 3.38:1. 3.14:1 are almost impossible to find used, only brand new from people like Classis Conversions.
There were also 4.1 and 4.4 I think but again these are very hard to find - have a look on www.wscc.co.uk boardroom - a chap on there was selling one recently but it's the first time I've seen one for sale in years.
