Is anyone planning to go to this?

I haven't seen much advertising and I get the impression that it is going to be even more of a damp squib than the last show.

A fair number of people I know are going, but it doesn't help that it's the same week as Oulton Gold Cup

I'm going, but I am expecting very few trade stands and a reduced outdoor display. It's a nice drive to get there and with the forecast being good I just treat it as a lunch stop with entertainment smile

I'm going in my Fury. Probably camp over sat/sun. Not sure how well supported it'll be. I suspect Oulton, summer holidays and folks already having plans for the bank holiday will all conspire to reduce numbers. Hopefully a few mates turn up. At least there won't be frost on the tent.

Another one going.

If folk think "It might not be busy, so I won't go" then it's even less likely to be busy...... just saying rolleyes

I can't make it this year - prior commitment!

I have my doubts about the number of trade stands that will be there too. I would imagine there will be a good few die-hards in the club sections though!

I went to the Classic show at Tatton Park on Saturday and it was a bit meh. Was NOT helped by the weather though!

There were a fair few traders at the autojumble and a reasonable turnout on the club stands, I suppose, but the persistent drizzle made it a bit lacklustre for me.

I'll be going on Sunday , minus the Sytlus ,As the newly refurbished rear axle decide to spurt out half its oil on the MOT lane last week.

I last went in the good old days of Den Tanner, Vince Wright and Peter Filby.

It was a huge show back then.

Glad to see it's still going.

I’m looking to get a kit car probably next year so using the show to see what’s out there.

Coming down from Glasgow on Friday evening, staying near Coventry, show Saturday, grub and pub, back to hotel then Alton Towers on the way home Sunday.

It's a shame to see people talking it down without any real information about who may or may not be there. It would be a shame to lose our last remaining show (unless they try again with Newark).

I'll be there on the CKC stand.

I'm heading up tomorrow, last went in 2015, I just like having a look at the manufacturer stands to see what's new.

Exhibitor list HERE

It doesn't make for happy reading, for those who remember the show in its heyday...

So do we have any reports from those that have attended today?

I walked round the whole thing in about 30 minute theres a fair number of cars there so good for car spotting, but the exhibition hall is sadly an echoing void.

Just the single hall with about 5 manufacturers and may 4 or 5 stalls inside and maybe 10 outside.

The ckc stall seemed to be one of the bigger ones.

Hopefully this will help them all survive and we can have a return to the halcyon days next year.

It was a nice run out though, although the 40mph everywhere crowd are out

Didn't take long to go round the trade stands as above but still worth a trip to give the car a run. Decent club turnout I thought given circumstances. PhoenMX5 kit looked interesting, slightly more refined Exocet.
