Picked up my new Indyblade last week and had my first play this weekend. Wow it's fun Not quite as refined as the TVR though

And yes I know, the lumigreen aeroscreen HAS to go!

Great looking MK, but the screen much better without.
How does it feel compared to the TVR ?
Oh, and got it up to speed yet ?

Snap! Did the exact same thing myself this weekend. Nice cheap plaything.

It's quick, but a very different kind of quick to the torquey quick of the TVR so it's difficult to compare. I'd say it's probably quicker off the line due to less torque and therefore easier to not break traction but obviously the TVR will kill it at higher speeds (but CERTAINLY not round corners!)

Haven't tested it hard yet still getting used to it, and the power connection to my Digidash was intermittent meaning when I floored it it switched off so I had no idea what speed/rpm I was doing! Fixed that now though so hopefully next drive out I'll be able to see what I'm doing!

That looks good fun. I'm supposed to be building an r1 locost in the garage and looking forward to getting it done at some point in the next 20 years.

After being harried by the westfield crew I'd suggest that if you're going to be driving it in any kind of spirited fashion I'd fit a much stronger roll bar... that one looks even more cosmetic than the one on my westy and I'm swapping that out this w/e.

It's on the to-do list. For one thing it's not really fair on any passengers, and for another thing I'm a lanky 6'4" so even on the drivers side it's not high enough for me with a helmet!

Based on what I've seen it would fold flat if you rolled anyway... you really need one with a diagonal and some rear struts. MK would probably be able to supply one I imagine.
