In the totalkitcar manufacturer list they have a prices headed kit and DIY - what is the difference and is it consistant between all the makers?

For instance Robin hood have a special offer of just over £3K for one model which includes wheels and tyres - but wheels and tyres don't seem to be included with anyone else kit of bits. Of the 7 type kits is the Robin hood cheap for a reason or is it OK?

I think you might find Robin Hood is cheap for a reason , but remember there are many out there who are happy with them , but try a RH and one of the other 'race' style cars and you would see a bug differance . but it depends what you want the car for.

Just wanted the car for some fun mainly and might do a bit of competition in 750MC events with it..

Any idea re: KIT v DIY?

Hi

Just guessing here but could it be that the 'kit' price is for the whole package and the 'diy' is for the basics and you go out for the other parts to your own spec?

maybe other manufacturers have different ideas of what consists of kit/diy, i.e. some include wheels others dont.
