why because you can't get out of it when you get there! and thus can't spend any money?..... of because it can only make a trip to the shops and back before needing a re-build?

Question Why was this moved ? If I wanted to speak to Gman I post on the Ultima forum, why the hell would I go to the Kit Car Forum, Is Stig not happy with me still ? If I posted a thing about the Veron then would that get moved aswell ?
Moderaters can somtimes be rather silly.... this is surpose to be a Fun / Hobby persute so do we realy need this kind of "Jobs worth" Policing ???

Why cann't we all be friends, instead of this sillyness ??

Clive, it was moved because it's not Ultima related. If you posted about the Veyron or anything else, unless it involved Ultima then it would go to General Gassing.

If you want to speak to GMan - then you can easily email him via his profile.

The Zcar is not an Ultima is it, it's a kit car. Ergo, it goes in the Kit Car forum.

Sorry if you feel it was moved inappropriately, but don't just assume that I moved it either. I'm not the only mod you know!!!!

However, beginning the post with "Now this is truly quick...... " and putting a link to a competitor site is a) Advertising and b) Trolling - so I would probably have moved it anyway

Any mod would have moved a post from the Ultima forum to the kit car forum, if the topic related to another kit car marque rather than an Ultima.

Doesn't matter who originated the post.

But If I wanted to speak to Gman I'd hardly post on another forum ?? This is surpose to be a FUN persute, not a "Jobs Worth" Policed forum.... This just shows that people get to dam serious over these things, and quite frankly I'm getting rather bored of them...

If I was only bringing attension to a car on the market that can now beat the fastest ultima to 60mph and maybe 100mph.. So it was realy a infomation statement.. and a little dig at Gman ( who by the way has a better sence of humor than some people )...

Rant Over......

Hi Clive,

As Meeja said, any mod would move a post if it was in the wrong forum. Otherwise we end up with threads all over the place. Meeja is the mod of this forum by the way.

As I said, if you only wanted to speak to GMan, then you can email him via his profile. As it is, there is still a link to this thread ON the Ultima forum, so I don't see what there is to get upset about?

I support whoever moved the thread as it was misplaced and could be construed as trolling.

Please don't take it personally. Your Ultima related posts are most welcome, but ZCars belong here I'm afraid. I've never had a problem with you or your posts so have never been 'unhappy' with you as you put it? Not that it would have any bearing anyway as you're as free to post as the next contributor.

Have you finished it yet btw?

Incidently, for the record, as I understand it, the 0-60 of the mini was 2.81 secs?

Ultima have officially recorded a 2.76secs (see their website under the Part 2 flashing caption where there is an official datron timesheet to prove it).

There is also the small matter that the ZCars Mini was non road legal, no number plates, no lights, no glazing etc, and was on slicks.

So like your EWP post, hardly a fair comparison

Don't take it personally, little digs work both ways. I have more of a sense of humour than you realise

Ok Stig Air is now clear again...

But for infomations sake, that was only a 220ish bhp no turbo version of the Busa Engine. They have a car being built at present that will be road registered...

Mine is very different to theres, and it will be 100 kgs heavier for a start, but it has 440bhp, so hopfully should be closer to Gareth....

I've heard that over 400bhp from a busa requires higher than pump grade fuel!

It can run 98 octain unto 400 but need to keep charge temperature down to run any more. So water injection and a intercooler Sray bar are the plan... Plus there is that bottle of Co2 to freeze the intercooler on those 1/4 miles runs... But with a Variable Boost controller, I can keep a lower level for normal running just to be safe for the road...

Safe being a relavtive term, as 350bhp at lets say 700kgs (thats with me in the car and maybe full of fuel), still means 500bhp/ton......
