Vauxhall 16v oil quantity ?

Hi all, I have a westfield fitted with a 2.0l 16v vauxhall engine, i was wondering how much oil the engine would take as it runs a shallow sump and i am about to service it ? would be greatful for any help !

If it has a shallow sump has it been extended out the sides to give it the same capacity? A normal VX 16v takes about 4.5ltrs. I guess the dip stick is still there? Fill to the max mark as normal, If the level is much higher than that the crank will be draging in the oil!
You could allways measure how much oil you take out.
