Agree with AUSTIN316 : the car on e bay looks a nice one, and the spec is good. It says there's no reserve on it, and current bid of just over £7K would be an absolute steal - if anyone gets this car for under £10K it will be a new record for how low a spend gets you a Rush Cosworth Turbo (let alone a 4x4 one)!

I wouldn't worry about the short list of items requiring attention -new door hinges are a couple of quid from Dax, or you can get them from boat chandlers for less than that. Stitching on the seat is easily sorted for pence, and the 2 gauges issue should be easily sorted (if one is inaccurate it is a recalibrate or replace sender, and as for the one that doesn't work take it out and get an auto electricien to test it : it'll either be repairable, replaceable or a sender / simple wiring fault thats causing it to give no reading whatsoever).

Good luck in your search for a Cossy Rush : my 4.6ltr V8 Rush is a blast, and I'll only part company with it when my legs give out !!

well i'v been watching it today but i think it might go for well over the 10k mark there's already one chap who's asked if he'll take 11k and end the auction early but this was declined, i'll definatly be bidding on it but i think it will go beond my budget.

I was the one who offered him 11K for it (STUPIDLY). I'm not very happy that he posted that on there. I wasn't planning to put an offer in like that, but saw that someone had asked him if he would take it off ebay early for the right price. I've been in the situation before. Where I'm waiting to bid on a car. then they just remove the auction. So I decided to put an offer in stupidly thinking that he wouldn't post it up like that. I don't think I will be bidding on it anymore. I do wonder about the brain power of some of the people on ebay.

Have a hunt around and find out who supplies Dax.

Saved myself several hundred quid during the build by doing this.

Hi,

PPC has one as it's feature and cover car next month, if that's of any use to you.
