there's a damaged one on ebay and I'm considering a punt on it....

also, for that matter, any opinions on all the other Caterfield 7 clones?
Any that are spectacularly good?
Any to avoid at all costs?

Mate of mine built one of those a couple of years ago from plans. Had to make up the chassis from bits of cut tube (which he had to buy, cut & weld himself) So I guess it would depend on the quality of the guy who built it as to weather it would be worth a punt. Typical seven cloan as it great fun to drive…

Stuart Taylor, MK, Dax all have a pretty good reputation.

Keep away from Robin Hood (he'll rob you blind )

Westfield's are great but I may be biased, great owners club see www.wscc.co.uk
Tiger- have a friend with one, very nice but depends on who built it.
Mk Indy seen a couple in the flesh always seem to be well built.
Robin hood, I had one for a year felt it was too big and heavy.
Formula 27 dont know much about these but I like the shape.
