There is someone who builds a very expensive F40 kit..... I know someone who seriously considered it after he sold his Ult so I'll ask him if he has the details.

There is that new French Kit which has undertones of F40 ,particularly in side profile.
I think Quantum are marketing it. Or a second hand TR7 one.......

I think the Lexus powered one was this one... www.f40.co.nz/f40/index.htm it was definately from NZ as i have videos from its first outing at pukekoe(sp?) somewhere.

From that site it looks like they are not planning on making a kit available. Bummer looked awesome!

This is a link to the French company SEFAP:

www.sefap.net/

Their F40 is designated the PF4.

I believe there is at least one of these in the UK.

Hello people ; F40 Kits.

But first of all a quick note to new people unfamiliar with "kits"( as I was 5 years ago) let it be known that there is a huge diffenence between a kit car and a panel kit car.
A true kit car is of many many parts, built from the ground upwards,ie seperate chassis, whereas a pannel kit (355 Reps for instance) are "cut off, bolt on" body suits, and are much easier to do yourself. Everyone else, eggs, suck, sorry.

There are a half a dozen French F40 kits here in blighty, Ive seen 3 and chatted to owners, All of which are on the Fiero left hookers, older ones are a bit tatty as expected but look the part.

The best one by a million or so miles is the N.Z one, just up the road from my cousin infact, by the bayside. Ive been in contact with the owner of the company, get this he wants £112,000 for a turn key! and he said they had three orders at the time, all from America. Space frame is the way to go for authenticity as with all the best "kit cars".This paricular car did a tour of America recently, and cleaned up.

Fiero factory have built two F40ish panel cars so far, Ive looked closely at them, brilliant to put it on the Mr2 Turbo for the speed side, but a tad "skinny" a bit on the steep side too. Turn keys brand new were 16K without wheels,on my last chat with Mr Briddon.
There you go, F40 stuff.
