Get yourself too a kit car show and have a good look around, everyone will be a bit biased (understandably) too their own favorite(myself included) so I'm not gonna say buy this or that cos its the best thing since sliced bread.
A show is the place too start IMHO.

A lot depends on what you want out of the car, daily, track action or just something different for the weekend?
Some kits are available with everything needed to build at a price, also some manufacturers will build a turnkey kit, again at a price.
The most popular first kit tends to be a seven replica as they are so simple to build and give great performance for the price.

Where can i get a seven replica from? Really i want it just as a weekend car, when its time for fun. I got a daily car.

In that case start on

www.locostbuilders.co.uk

you will find specific forums for several 7 replicas all of which are pretty good, myself i would go for an MK Indy with a bike engine, but like i said I'm no different too other owners and am biased.

Enjoy.

30th April & 1st May this year is the National Kit Car Motor Show at the Royal Agricultural Showground in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.

Its pretty much the biggest show of the season and any questions you've got should certainly be answered there. Nearly all the kit manufacturers turn up and its always a great weekend!
