Mid engine chassis plans?

I've got a copy of the Ron Champion book 'build your own sportscar for £250 and race it' and also the 'Build your own Tiger Avon sportscar' book. Both these books/plans are front engine/rwd but I wish to build a mid engine chassis.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a set of plans?

All I can find is a set of diablo plans from www.nearc.com but these cost a lot more than the books I already own.
