I notice that there's a Cyclone on ebay with a damaged rear and wondered if replacment panels are available?
Also is there an owners club.?
Thanks Johnem

I'm sure I read somewhere that the moulds had been destroyed in some divorce rangle.
Hope this is not true.
Always liked the looks so it would be nice if it came back.

You could try the owners club and see if there are any panels you could take a mould off.

No you are on your own there i'm afraid, the tooling was destroyed.
Nearly bought one last year, check insurance though, under the proposed policy i was about to take out the car would have been written off at the slightest of incidents due to the lack of 'off the shelf parts' as the insurance companies don't get into bespoke manufacture / specialist repairs etc. This was a policy from a leading kit car insurer too. Hence the premium was ridiculously expensive with most refusing to insure it....

Unfortunately it made me walk away.

Sorry just to add, there isn't an owners club as only 32 were made. Some owners tend to keep in touch via email to try and help each other out i think.
The guy who's car i nearly bought used to post on here if you search back through the archive.

Its only fibreglass. There is firms that can repair the stuff, not that dificult. The damage on the car on ebay is only very minor, even I could do it.I crunched the rear wheel arch on my old westie and it didn't take much to rebuild it and you couldn't tell.

Thanks James and Justin, I have always admired the design of the Cyclone, It's (dare I say) a step up from the L7IS cars but with no support not sure I would want to go there.

Well, I've got one (not in perfect nick mind you) and as a yacht designer too the panels are pretty easy to repair. I've seen the one on E-bay and it wouldn't be hard at all to fix.

If you wanted (and someone was willing) its a cheap and quick process to take a splash mould off a current car...

Drop me a line if you want more info...
