Anyone else seen this?

A sensibly priced kit which isn't a LSIS or Cobra.....at last something a bit different.

This, I like......

I have seen the Riot, and its a nice piece of kit, but from what I know of it uses relatively expensive engine combinations - either Zetec SE or bike, neither of which come cheap. (Total build cost with a Riot is around £7K - correct me if I am wrong).

With the Rover donor parts it should keep a Mongoose full build at quite a lot less than that.

I'm sure you can put any engine that fits in a Riot, and Sylva have a reputation of being among the best handling cars out there.

Hm, looked at the Riot page, and it seems that it doesn't accept just any engine. Still probably a very good choice, and secondhand R1 engines can't be too expensive.

Hmm, Not sure about the Onyx, it looks like a school metalwork project, nowhere near as stylish as a caterham/westfield type clone, and its obvious why its cheap.
Sorry just doesnt do it for me.
