Was looking for a mid-engine chassis that would take the Subara flat flour engine, and found this :

www.blastautomotive.com/index.html

What do you think.....I like the chassis design, but the styling is said to be "Sporty euro-styling".........

Uhm, looks different
You could try Saker in the Netherlands, www.sakermotorsport.nl. Gt-style car with a mid-mounted Subaru Impreza engine.

The BLAST is a good example of 'eight by four' styling.

If the web site didn't say different, I'd have sworn that Chris Bangle had been freelancing again...

Not Striker surely!
I'd say that front, and to a lesser extent back, are pure Sylva Star/Leader....

And for what it's worth, apart from the 'screen, I like it!!

Sakers are actually from New Zealand but I believe they are used in a race series over there as well.

Errrm, does that thing have front suspension? The wheels certainly don't have any wheelarches to move into!

Nice idea, but utterly hideous.

I love Kit-cars and Subaru turbos but that . . .

If you want a mid-engine Subaru kit the Saker is definitely the way to go. One of our Kiwi PHers is building one at the moment.
