If you're mainly going to be using it on the road, the best advice is probably to go and see if you can try one or at least get a ride in one. Bike engined cars are definitely phenomenal on track, but some people find them a bit hard to live with for road use... Others think they're fine so its very much down to personal taste.

There are lots of other good Seven style cars out there with bike or car engines, so there's no need to restrict yourself just to Westfield unless you particularly want one

I've built/owned two... first one was a 'standard' jobbie and was fine on the road/great on the track, my current car is a turbo'd version which is even better on the road and sense numbingly fantastic on the track... My website: www.best-guess.co.uk/westfield_turboblade/

Deciding on what you feel you want from the car, how 'different' you want the car to be, where you mostly will use it is very important and will mean you'll have to do a bit of research...

Best advice is try and get to your local WSCC area meeting (that obviously has a Blade car) and ask questions, then find a Zetec/Duratec/X-Flow/CVH/V8/Vx powered one and ask questions, try and get a passenger ride out in the BEC/CECs, then have a think, then ask more questions...

To find where your local area meet is: www.wscc.co.uk/local.htm ... we're a friendly bunch.

Regards

jc

Dont know where you are, but the one in the Classifieds in Biggin Hill is a mates, its absolutely mint and Id buy if I wanted to get divorced... Seriously, you either get the bike thing or you do not, if you do you can do a lot worse than a Westfield version.
