I'll try and take some pictures and post them up, but I'm no David Bailey !! wobble

I've been looking at:

Cobra 427

Gardner Douglas 427

Dax Rush / Tojeiro... like them both

Fiero Factory – Euro 427

Pilgrim Sumo

I've got a rough idea of what I like, but it's still a girls prerogative to change her mind

I will be going and will be meeting up with my pals at the Ultima 'car park', have you considered an Ultima? You could be the first female builder/owner (I don't know of any others although they may exist). Come and say hello, we would be pleased to make your acquaintance and have a chat.

Thanks Wayne, look out for me - I'll be the one wondering round taking pictures, looking amazed with my mum in tow. haha.
I would love an Ultima, perhaps have to stay on my wish list for a while though bow

I went and it was great. Well, the 92 laps that I did were great, didn't get to see much else!

Anna_S many thanks for the pictures, most of them I know already or are a bit expensive like the Ultima GTR wich I like a lot...
And that Saker sportscar they do races in the Netherlands with those cars, was that car also for roaduse? and with V8? because they normaly race with subaru engine's boxer 4 cill and boxer 6 cill?? looks a bit Ultima
I also like GD cars...but most are roofless but for the cobra versions you can get nice hardtops thoug...

Hope you've had a nice day their...did you see the cars you like or?

Did your car have a p/h sticker across the back?

I was there watching my b/f race and on a walk through the paddock I noticed a p/h sticker on a race car.

Had a good time, now can write the book on Donington after a full day in the car. Loved the track, despite some rather dodgy driving being on display

The Saker was definitely for road use.. not sure about the engine options though.

I personally quite like the look of the Gardner-Douglas 427 with the Euro chassis - this one in fact.. I could see myself driving around in that cool

The GD Cobra is a superb piece of kit and you can't really go wrong if that is the direction you choose to go in.

On a separate note, sorry that I missed you at the Ultima owners showing but SteveD met you and said he thought you seemed to be a very nice young lady.

I visited the show yesterday and thought it was a little small, but I'm comparing it to Stoneleigh.
The sole purpose for me was to meet the guys from Extreme and to see the 360 replica, nice looking on the outside but the interior needed a little tlc, their demo was also the smaller 2.0ltr 406 peugeot donor.
My girlfriend was with me and as an 'outsider' to the kit car fraternity commented on the actual quality of some of the ferrari replicas, " they look nice but as a demo car I don't think being told 'we had to rush to prepare it for the show' was a tangeble excuse" I'm afraid I'm blinded by the beauty of the cars and know that the finish is up to an individual's taste, but is she right?
A manufacturer is displaying its' goods, if it doesn't look right it's not a good advertisement for the companys profile.
The 360 from DNA was another beauty with panel substitution to an MR2, this grabbed a lot of attention; rightly so, and I couldn't fault the guys on the stand, they were polite and imformative, I got the feeling they were very proud of their conversion, I hope they are successful with their product, it's a nice package, but I'm still going to go with the extreme due to the shear engineering and size of the car ( very close to actual dimension including wheel base).

I'll try to post some pictures later when I get home
D
