Jesus Bango, founder of Bango Racing Cars, began to compete at the beginning of the decade of the 80 with a Formula TT of old Division 3 made by he himself. After a long parenthesis in his sport race he returns to the competition in year 96 with a prototype of car cross designed and created again, of totally artisan way, by him. As of that year he habitually competes with this single-seater in the Championship of Spain and Asturias, obtaining innumerable successes, as they are the Championships of Asturias de Autocross in Div. IV in seasons 97 and 98. In season 99 the BRC Car Cross Evo II is sent. The second evolution of the fast original earth formula, that, although that Bango year could not compete, began gaining that season already the Championship of Asturias de Div. IV into the hands of Jose Manuel Queipo. In seasons 2,000 and 2,001 he would be the own Jesus Bango again who would win in the Championship of Asturias, adjudging itself the title 2003 Iván Suárez also with the BRC Car Cross Evo II. This one second evolution has demonstrated to be able to fight with the best manufacturers of chásis of the market, which it has faced and won in numerous occasions. In the season 2,001 Bango Racing Cars one embarks in a still more important project: The creation of an asphalt single-seater destined to mountain, according to the regulation of original Group cm of France. This vehicle, extremely light and equipped with a motor of moto of 1,000 cm cubical, demonstrated an excellent competitiveness in all its mountain participation, as much inside as outside Asturias, and between which they emphasize, for example, the third position obtained in the Ascent to Jaizquibel of Autumn, in which single it was surpassed by pluricampeones of the specialty Vilariño and Zabaleta, both with vehicles of more than 400 c.v. After seeing the possibilities that offered these modest but most effective vehicles, the Real Spanish Federation of Motoring, at the request of the F.A.P.A., impeller of the project, decided to create a specific glass for these cars in the Championship of Spain de Montaña 2,002, championship for which BRC cm Evo I was the first accredited vehicle. The development of the championship demonstrated the competitiveness of the BRC cm that adjudged the final triumph in the Glass piloted by Jesus Bango. In the 2003, BRC cm have taken a step more, occupying the two first positions of Glass cm of the Championship of Spain de Montaña besides to obtain several absolute victories, surpassing in the classification scratch to the powerful supertourism.
