The car in question is an Avelle gta by Motion Car Developments. They are going and will be in garage 29.

Have a look at www.totalkitcar.com/tkc_article_12 to see who else will be there this year.

The website for the Avelle gta is www.avelle-cars.com

Thanks G

Now I see the back-end of the Avelle gta I’m not so sure, but still have to see it in the flesh. From the side and front I love-it, just not sure about the rear.

Looking forward to the show, looks like some exiting and different cars on show.

Sorry to report that Marlin Cars will NOT be going(due to a family breavment), had a e-mail from them today. But I guess that they will be at Castle Combe Stroke Assn. day 28th October, if you want a trip round a circuit in their excellant 5EIXR.

The weather forecast is DRY!!!!!!!!! There should be about 60 various kit cars to sample (average 2 per manufacturer) so anyone considering going definately should. The last 3 events have been heavy rain or undersubscribed with passengers, to say the least, so you should get many rides if you wish. We will be in Garage 14, my car is the Yellow VVC Libra and has the Pistonheads sticker in the window. Come and have a ride. There should also be a red VVC spyder (convertible version) and the black GTM cars V6 powered demonstrator available. I will be taking a few rides myself in other manufacturers cars, the Stratos looks fantastic.

We've got two Toniqs on track, after the fantastic time we had there in the 'Blade at the Drive For Life day I've been dying to get back and do it again...

There's been a heated debate as to how much quicker the Duratec will be! Tris and I will be out all day, trying to avoid each other in case it all gets a little competitive...

See you all at Brands tomorrow!

Thanks for taking me round for a few quick laps Lee - not sure which one of us enjoyed it more, but once again I was impressed with how fast even a modestly powered Libra can go round a track.

What a great day, Congrats to Steve and the team at Totalkitcar for organising such a great event. (The best TKC live so far)
It's great to see Jonathan Palmer come out and get involved as well, even driving a few cars around the circuit during the lunchbreak ! Just goes to prove how good these cars can be !

Lee and I did about 280 odd track miles between us on the day and had a queue for circuit rides all day, The 3 GTM's that took to the track ran faultlessly apart from an imobiliser fault on Lee's car that was quickly sorted out by the guy's at Talon Sportscars who had their diagnosis kit with them for the Rover 5AS system.

I will get some photos uploaded once I receive them from some guests who were their all day and bagging as many trips out in cars as they could (which is what the show is all about)

The driving standards on track was pretty good as well with no major stopages and excellent flag marshaling helping everyone know about fast cars approaching and any incidents on track.

I know the show was a sucess for GTM as they took a number of deposits on new kits and these were mainly down to the demo drives carried out by Lee and myself so it proves the show works.

It looks as if the day was filmed for Sky TV as well so those of you who could not make it might get too see what you missed.

This is the way to go for Kitcar shows. Live and unleashed.

see you at the next one.
