I'm another old'n' so can't help. I'd suggest you post on WSCC noticeboard as there's quite a few young'n's there who could advise on insurance.

Call around a few specialists in the back of a Kit Car mag. I think I insured mine for something stupid like £170 a year and im not and old boy.

If you don't have a Kit Car mag just pop into WH Smiths read one and punch some numbers into your mobile

My kits in younger days were with Adrian S Flux, who was cheapest by a rediculously long way - dont know what they are like nowadays but my Dad still has his scratch build with them, and that is a pitance.

Thanks guys, i tried sureterm but they were quite expensive. I got a good offer fron Flux based on 5000 miles a year of under £270 comp.

You don't generally use / build up NCB on kit car policies, the way most of the policies work for some reason.

That is good, they wanted £296 for me on my Tiger Cat E1 limited to 3,000 miles, i'm 29 and have a another car. Might of had something to do with a £6,000 pay out on my bike right off.
