TVR - a replacement
Discussion
Ok - So if TVR goes overseas who will become its replacement English Manufacturer , I'll argue that it should come from the ranks of the KIT CAR companies as this is where those EX British Car Co's have usually risen from , TVR will join that other Korean Institution LOTUS
so its replacement
suggestions are GTM (just to keep Freg happy)
ULTIMA
Marlin
(I would have loved it to be Phantom with their infinitely desirable VORTEX)
Its sad that such heritage is thrown out and so many will loose their jobs

I think GINETTA has a similar history to TVR, and could replace it if they came up with a modern G33.
I would personally love Ginetta back on the map in a greater scale then it is today...
More models but surtainly ligthweight! porsche's and the likes there are anough and very nice, but we need more specialist cars at low prices and very basic! drivers cars
GTRene
Oops, bit late to this one..
To those who know about TVR's - how much TVR like is that chassis ?

No. Gardner Douglas are in a different business entirely - with production levels pegged really low, quality through the roof, and a very small and discerning audience. Their work is derivative, but quite top class.
The carbon fibre T70 spider demonstrator is one of the most achingly lovely things that I've ever seen, on a number of levels - the mechanical integrity is just superb, and it goes like stink.
Once in production, availability (of the GD GT) will be exclusive as we have no plans to be the next TVR. Indeed we will be limiting production to approximately 25 cars per year.
