Aston Martin replica kit

Recently saw an add on findit.co.uk for a Capri based Aston Martin replica.

I was wondering if this was self built or purched in a kit form?
Are the any other suppliers for AM replica's (like there are a few for Ferrari and Lamborghini)?

I've searched the net but got no results.

Pilgrim used to sell an eight piece body kit called the Martini to convert a Capri into something that had certain styling ideas from an Aston Martin. You also needed to weld strengthening items at various places.

Not their best effort.

an old work colleague started to build one.He dreamed about it for ages and eventually started it.I had the exciting job of hunting for the chevette rear lights in a very muddy breakers yard.He had to weld in tonnes of steel and then cut the roof off.Fit the full body kit and thankfully,thats where I lost contact with him.It was a pile......

This is a rebody for the mazda Mx5, I think that the shape is challenging.......and its supposed to look like an Aston Martin

These AM 'replica' kits died off about 15 years ago. Before the bloody awful Pilgrim abortion flossy mentioned, there was a much better looking version made by DMS.

hi all,
regarding the above,
i own a 1982 capri which already was fitted out with the dms bullet kit when i got it, (a real head turner) the bad news is, it has been sitting in a lockup for the last six or seven years and not turned a wheel. i intend to get it out this summer and get it back on the road with the main aim to sell. British racing green, black soft top and sierra running gear. should have pics of it soon an will post them.
