2.0 Duratec

did i read on a forum on another site that there is a kit to uprate this engine to a 2.3, or did i pick it up wrongly. any links/advice greatly apprecaited

The 2.0 and 2.3 are diffrent in so many ways would stick to the 2.0 its easyer to get power out. We have a standard unit with throttle bodys on it and its puting out 193bhp and 174ft lbs of torque thats running a emerald ecu talk to the guys at emerald and they should be able to advise you more.

The 2.3 is a standard capacity Duratec for the US market which has been picked up by various tuning companies in the UK. If you want a standard (or fairly standard) one try Power Torque Engineering in Coventry (www.powertorque.co.uk). For a tuned one try companies like Minister or Cosworth.
