vdo speedp wiring...?

Posting on behalf of a mate...

He is finalising the build of a robin hood enginnering kit car and has bought a set of VDO cockpit range instruments.

Thing is...he cannot find out how to calibrate the speeometer. There were no or very little instructions and VDO / Demon Tweeks have not been able to help so far.

Can anyone help?

Go ask on the Ultima forum as I believe the factory supplied gauges are VDO.
If it is electronic then you set a code on the back so it should be possible to just keep making adjustments until you have it right. Use a GPS to set it accurately.

Give ETB instruments a ring, www.etbinstruments.com/index.html, They'll be able to tell you how to set up the speedo. They can even calculate any figures you need to input into the speedo. Mine was only 1mph out at 70 when it was sva'd
