Fantastic! Seeing as good condition Montes are only around 4K (if such a thing exists). All up costs under 10K??

Watching with bated breath!

Just out of interest, do you have facilities for storing a project car?
Might need to do this one under the radar of wifey wife for the first few months...
Cheers,
Robin.

Wow, the 037 is one of the best looking rally cars ever made (apart from that gorgeous little Alfa Romeo, can't remember the name).

Looking forward to more pictures once you've had the car painted.

You need to host the pictures elsewhere - I use www.photobucket.com as many others do.

Every pic loaded on your photobucket account gets its own url, copy that from directly below the image within photobucket.

When composing a post, place a picture by typing:

[pic] www.website/picture.jpg [/pic] (but remove the spaces between the squared brackets and the url).

Does that help or hinder?

Great idea for a kit, and reasonably priced too. We could do with some more decent Group B replicas about, 200 of each was just too few. Who knows, I might look into this further when finances allow.

This would appeal to me also. There was an article about some of the Group B machines recently in CAR. And the Jan 18 issue of AutoSport had rally cars that were never rallied.

Many of those would be such good starting points for kitcar/replica/inspirations. Personally the Audi Group S machine in AutoSport is of interest. Just wished they'd had more photos / drawings of all those cars. I find the whole 'stillborn' cars subject of great interest.... I wonder what else lives in the AutoSport archives ??
