Trivial handbrake cable question

Nothing more than an annoyance this, but the little rubber bellows on the caliper end of my std. Sierra handbrake cable have perished to nothingness. Now this isn't the end of the world but the cable's only a few years old and will probably degrade rapidly when wet & dust get down the outer, and it seems such a waste.

I've looked on the Ford parts CD and you can only get a complete cable assembly; googling hasn't yielded anything either. Am I on a fool's errand thinking I can replace these bellows or does anyone know if such an item is available?
