Any Quantum owners on here?
Discussion
Anyone?
This is mine www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/108092.htm which I'm about to take off the market (unless anyone wants it - no it's not a plug!) The prices seem to be ridiculously low at the moment and I've enjoyed it as much as anything else I've owned, so I think I'm going to get it back on the road and sell my ZS.

Hi, do you want me to post a link on the Quantum owners club google group for you, if you haven't already done so?
Hi Jonty,
Yeah, that'd be good - it was all on smartgroups when I was active(ish).
Can't agree more - it was my first performance road car and I heard some mixed reviews (some of the online ones are less than flattering!) but despite driving a variety of quick FWD cars since then I've yet to find one that betters it alround - some had more feel, but lacked the balance, quite a few went quicker, but didn't handle. Also had character - far more sense of occasion being dripped on in my fiberglass kit than in the Porsche I owned shortly after I retired it. Need to rejoin the QOC before I insure it.
So, time to bring it out the barn.... [literally, it's kept at home on a farm]
Cheers dude.
PS Had a bit of a motoring adventure this morning, after my traffic avoiding back route to work turned out to be ....well, a bit like a scene from Clockwise if anyones seen that film
It was an absolute farce, but had me zooming round the country lanes round here, trying to find one that was actually open andheading in the right direction.
Didn't realise you got roads like that in Essex - definitely want the 2+2 up here now!

Try the roads around Burnham-on-Crouch - the B1010 is particularly good. I'm planning to take the Riot out there as soon as it's build as there some pretty good photo locations too. Bit of a biker hotspot on a sunny day.
Adam.
Will do....
The problem I find round here is anywhere that's quiet enough to have fun lacks the visibility (or width) to do so. Early morning trips to Stanstead up the twistier bits of the erm, A130(?) proved quite ammusing when I was doing it a lot though.
My only gripe with the Quantum is it's not that quick in a straight line, so you need a decent line of sight to overtake anything.
