I think I need help
Discussion
I was looking through the latest Kit Car Mag.
I am drawn to the Mev Rocket.
Kinda like it.
It's what I imagine GTM should have looked at for the 40TR.
Prices look very appealing & it looks like lots of fun.
Not sure what it will actually cost though. Although it looks cheap, there is no indication of a full (road spec) build cost.
Problem:
1. I have a kit nearly finished.
2. I can't afford this.
Other question:
Why do I like it? It isn't exactly the prettiest thing in the world!

Mark,
Finish the kit and sell it, and then buy the Mev Rocket, or something like it.
I thnk it appeals because it looks really simple and basic, but with the added extra of being light, and a no frills sportscar.
I think it's what dune buggies were in the 60's, light and fun and if tuned, interestingly fast......
Do it..

We're running a series on the development of the Rocket in WKC?
(Sorry, couldn't resist the chance for a plug!).
I think the photo of the chassis looks a lot better than the artist's illustration (both of which are show in the ad in Kit Car), and don't think you need help at all. It's quite natural to want more than one kit car...
Adam.

I'll keep an eye out for the articles.
I'm not buying one . . . I'm not buying one . . . I'm not
