Hi,

Can anyone recommend a company that can make propshafts quicktime. I have contacted both autoprop and reco-prop and they want 14 to 16 days to knock one together - anyone out there got any ideas?

Many thanks in advance,

Stuart.

Dunning and Fairbank or Bailey Morris would be the other two Id try, the former will probably be cheaper.

I have always found Reco-prop to be excellent and able to turn things around as quickly as any other company. However if you are in a real hurry perhaps try ringing one or two of the classic Ford rally preparation experts as they normally know everyone 'who can'.
Two people that I have always found very willing to help solve problems are Martin at The Escort Agency 018340860929 or 07702572857 and Phil/Mick Squires at Rally & Competition Equipment 01782 523664.
Both companies specialise in prepping Mk1/2 Escys and derivatives and are very good at it.
Neither will be able to do the prop for you, but they may well know of someone who can!
Hope this helps,
Neil.

I had a custom prop for my Westfield made by Dunning & Fairbank. Excellent service & a quick turn around. Of course if you want to go to the "ultimate" you can get a composite prop made up by these guys www.torqline.com/
They were displaying at Autosport & for a Cater/Field it was 75% lighter (and 4-5 times dearer) than a standard prop.
