Weber Carb Balancing
Discussion
I was wondering if anyone has any advice on balancing the chokes on one of the twin 45 DCOE carburettors that I have fitted to my 2 litre Zetec engine. I have a two twin choke set up and both chokes on one carb flow equally, whereas the flow through the chokes on the other carb differ by quite a bit. This means that by using the balancing screw I can get three chokes flowing equally, but not the fourth.
Both carbs are brand new. Is this a common problem easily fixed, or should I think about taking the carb back to the supplier?

So is it a case of pushing against the top of the butterfly valve which is flowing most air (forcing that choke closed), and reacting this force by pushing on the top of the valve which is flowing least air? I'm thinking that this might twist the spindle to balance the butterfly valves.
