Hi Guys, I'm looking for the absolute smallest pair for Head/Dippied/Side light unit I don;t know if any of youhave come across anything ~ sva are usually really good for things lig this, but though they have 90mm units they only have them with seperate main and dipped beams.

I'm pretty sure you can get 90mm as a main/dipped combo. Just can't remember what off! Might be a BMW unit?

Not a great deal of help I know, sure someone will be along shortly to expand on my rather poor effort.

Have a look at various Ford models. Puma, Cougar, some Focus models.
A friend of mine had a pair of twin units extracted from a Focus. Very need with a small lever to flip when travelling in Europe.

I am fairly sure that Hella do a 90mm headlight (main only) with side light but I doubt you will find anything with everything crammed in the same housing.

Citroen 2cv headlamp unit I'm fairly sure the round-lamped ones are main, dipped (one bulb) and side (another) in one non-sealed-unit fitting. You can even get domed holders as painted or chromed to fit if you need to

SVC do a combined dip/main unit, can't remember if it incorporates a sidelight or not, it's either 90 or 110mm & they are around £80 per pair IIRC.

Just a thought - You could always modify a dip & main unit to take a side light if neccessary. An LED would probably do the trick.

Try Motor cycle accessory shops, they have them. Stig
The Hella units at SVC are dip with side and main as two seperate units.

Note that many of these small headlights will not pass SVA. Might not be issue if the car is already registered or is for the track of course.

Like you, I also wanted the smallest possible lamps, as to cut a long story short, I dont drive in the rain or at night!......I am in the process of fitting a pair of these to my kit car

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DOMINATOR-TWIN-

each lamp is 3.5", and can be seperated form the other, they have main, dipped and side lights in each lamp......the will be no good for SVA.......but my car is already roadgoing, I know several people who have passed an MOT with them. Being a motorbike lamp they do dip slightly different from a car headlamp, but I think its hard for a tester to tell the difference. they are "E-marked" which is a real must.

when I got mine, I think the 3.5" dimension is for the glass lens......the major body diameter is 4"......they are very good value

when searching on ebay, type in "street fighter headlamps" and you will find loads!

Car head lamps dip to the left, whereas motorbike head lights dip downwards. There is an arrow on the headlamp glass which shows which way it dips. To pass an SVA the lights must dip to the left.
