How about a Bmw Z3 rebody that looks like a Mercedes 190 roadster.....yikes

It is indeed a very strange car when you think about it, wonder what was in the guys head when he came up with this, I know its a fusion merc and bmw go work togetherhehe

Serious...if they can make this...they also could make the wonderfull looking 300SL gullwing or even the 300SLR...grr

good find...they copy really almost everything if you want the looks but don't have the cash for a real SL then this is a good thing?

British company called Proteus (best known for their racing Jag replicas) did offer a 300SLR replica some years back. Not cheap, but superb attention to detail. About the only thing that wasn't authentic was the engine because the original racers used a special slant engine, whereas the Proteus version made do with Merc's production straight six.

I remember a time when the Z3 itself was a target for replication - it was based on an MX-5.

I quite like the Micra based Fiat 500 on that Chinese site paperbag
