Hello folks,

I want to ask, whether someone here at pistonheads knows anything about "SV Automotive".
Afaik, they sold Porsche replica kit-cars or sort of...
But what is more interesting : After Jensen went bust, they bought the rights to build the S-V8.
The last thing I've read was that they built 10 S-V8s, which were sold by "Oselli".
Some people, who were involved in the Jensen S-V8 story, said SV Automotive went bust...
Can anyone confirm that or knows anything about them... I mean SV Automotive.
They had a website www.sv-auto.co.uk, but there's not website anymore

with kind regards
GAGA

PS.:Sorry, that I chosed the name "GAGA". Beside of that silly name, I'm serious... (so no trolling, or hoaxing or whatever).

I was interested in buying one of the SV8's so know a little about SV automotive. The fim was owned by Graham Hanly and they did buy the last SV8 cars in parts from the receiver. I understand that Oselli had the last gold car SV8 assembled for sale at the end of last year. Graham told me in our last conversation that he is now in another venture and that the remianing Jensen parts had been sold to Rejen (along with a cv8 protype - that was shown at the NEC in 2002.) So I think that SV automotive is no more. I hope this helps,

Taz.

@Tazio : Thank you for the information... it helps...now, I just need to find some million pounds in my pocket in order to buy the rights for the Jensen S-V8, change the rear light cluster, develop a LHD version, put a another decent engine in it, ask the guys from Tech2reality to develop a hybrid-version, bring it then to the guys at Lotus and modify the suspension set-up and the handling, register "Jenson" (not "Jensen", or "Jowett" or another defunct british car brand or just register "Clarkson" as trademark) as trademark (type 12), make the car compliant with USA laws.... sell one for 25.000 rice crispies...or whatever..(I know there's a huge demand in the USA for small/mid-size british sport roadster... since the end of the MG B and the Triumphs..)

I always wanted to know, how a Jensen S-V8 saloon/sedan or shooting brake, estate or SUV would look like... any PS-artists here ?
