Convoy up to Stonleigh 6.5.07 from Chichester anyone?

To anyone, not just Kit Cars, how about it? I will be going from Chi, down the A27, turn left up the A24, onto the M25 going clockwise, of onto the M40, of at the Banbury exit, over to Southam to collect my mate and then only another few miles on to the show ground.
I will be in the Pizza Hut car park and will be leaving at 6.30 a.m. Journey will take 2.5/3.0 hrs and includes a stop at services on route. I will be in a BLACK Ultima so shouldn't be to hard to spot. I guess we should start a list, so here goes:

I'm up for it - although it'll be easier if I join en-route (if you're going up through Milford [A283 from memory], that's practically where I live).

Either black/gold Aeon GT3, or Dark grey Mondeo

Like the idea of a run up together but was wondering…
Why the start in Chi.?
Why the loop back to the A24? This adds almost half an hour to the run time.

If I were to go from home TomTom takes me west on A27, M3, A34, M40…time 2H30
If I were to go to Chi. TT turns me around and back west on A27..time 3H06
If I were to go to Chi. then A283 Milford…time 3H17
If I were to go to Chi. then A24…time 3H30

what day are you going up on? Funnily enough year before last I joined a convoy with a couple of ultima's and a sevenesque from a service station - didn't have a clue where I was going so just pressumed that's where they were heading and followed

If you're going A27, A24, M25, then it'll be around the A3 junction with the M25.

I had a couple of kit cars follow me in my sevenesque a couple of years ago to Detling. However, what they weren't aware of was that I was lost as well I did pull over and explain it to them after a few miles.

I've also thought how "fun" it would be to drive around a kit car show, but not actually get there and see how much of a tail you get

Before I knew the way to Stoneleigh, I chased a GTM Libra across country – which wasn't easy becuase he wasn't hanging about and I was driving a Smart. I was a bit miffed when he pulled into a Ford dealer...

The following year I was lost again, and saw a row of Dax Rushes leaving a hotel car park. I pulled up and asked if I could follow them to the show, and they said no.

The year after that, I remembered to bring a map.

Ahh didn't suss that cos he's not on the list.
Just leaves why Chi.? as you don't live there or are you meeting someone else you've forgotten to mention.

There is no particular reason for meeting at PH ( that is Pizza Hut ) Chi, just seemed like a good idea at the time.

V8owner is going to join at M25J13 so I would think that would work for you. Quick blat up the M3 then round one junction to 13.
