insurance without a garage?

have had my gtm libra for sale via ebay - it sold at a bargain price! doh!

thing is the guy who won has now found out he cant get the thing insured as he doesnt have a garage.

so - i'm stuck with ebay costs and still have the car

can any advise if theyu have a similar car without a garage and who they are insured with?

You should be able to get a final value credit back from Ebay for your costs.

Marc, the guy is a total tosser. Of course you can get them insured without a Garage, my Libra is insured with off-street parking on my drive. Adrian Flux NEVER mentioned a Garage to me, cannot see they would be bothered about on-street parking as Kit-Cars are the least stolen vehicles. Report him for messing you about. More like he got a cheap quote first then realised there was a Garage clause, and did not like the raised premium for on-street parking. I have mever been asked for a Garage for any kit car. Good luck re-selling it.
