Hi, now I know you shouldn't find a kit to fit the donor you already have, but I've just advised a friend that their MGB is beyond economical repair to the body shell. They are very sentimental about the car and would like to see it some how "reborn"... Any suggestions of past or present kits using the MGB? I can only think of hawk 289.

many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Why not rebirth it with a heritage shell and make a new MGB?

it's an option she is considering, although at £4500 for a heritage shell, a californian shell at £1500 looks a better proposition. Personally I couldn't bring myself to spend all that to "only" end up with a late rubber bumpered MGB - I know that chrome bumper conversions are available but if it's staying as an MGB then it's staying 100% original.
So I'm also trying to come up with all other ideas for my friend.

thanks for the suggestion though.
